Election denialism is now Republican dogma
FiveThirtyEight just reported “60 Percent of Americans Will Have An Election Denier On The Ballot This Fall.” This is serious.
You and I know that Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans love nothing more than being the pot that calls the kettle black. So it’s no surprise that while every election denier is a bona fide member of Trump’s GOP, they’re only sinking deeper and deeper into the Big Lie.
Take Trump’s words at his latest rally in Pennsylvania. Not his attacks on me personally, of which there were many, but this:
“Think how bad they are. Think how evil they are…These are bad people. They’re trying to destroy our country. And we can’t let it go on any longer…The radical Democrats are engaging in a desperate attempt to keep me from returning to the White House.”
Democrats are literally fighting to save our democracy. Trump and his cronies are literally trying to destroy it by overturning an election they clearly lost. We can’t allow their Big Lie to win — the truth must prevail.
