Let’s talk about AI data centers

Image
COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE NATION ARE OPPOSING DATA CENTERS THAT DESTROY THIER COMMUNITIES, INCREASE UTILITY COSTS AND FAIL TO PROVIDE JOBS OR REVENUE AS FALSELY PROMISED!   With AI data centers popping up all over Kentucky and across the country, I want to talk about an issue that’s been coming up a lot on the campaign trail. We keep hearing about the economic opportunities that come with artificial intelligence. They frame it as an “investment” into our communities. But so far, these data centers have been jacking up the price of utilities like electricity and water, burning fossil fuels and causing noise pollution, and pushing rural Kentuckians out of their homes — all so tech companies and billionaires like Elon Musk can get rich. My message is simple:   If we’re not centering working people and doing right by them, we have to take a step back and stop it.  That’s why I’m calling for a moratorium on data centers and a Workers Bill of Rights to protect workers in the age...

Gov. Andy Beshear on Winning as a Dem in a Red State

Image
Watch now   Gov. Andy Beshear on Winning as a Dem in a Red State Gov. Andy Beshear joins me to expose the truth about Trump’s tariffs, Medicaid cuts, and the path forward for Democrats. Ben Meiselas and MeidasTouch Network Mar 18 By Ben Meiselas I just had one of the most eye-opening   conversations  I’ve had in a long time — with none other than Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. And I want every single one of you to hear this because what we talked about goes far beyond Kentucky. It’s about what’s at stake for every working family in this country. Donald Trump, in his usual out-of-touch delusion, just declared April 2nd “Liberation Day” — a day to celebrate his plan to impose even more tariffs. He says it’ll make everyone “super rich.” Right. Richer for who, exactly? Certainly not for the working families getting hammered by what Governor Beshear calls the “Trump Tax.” And he’s right — call it what it is. When you pay more for gas, that’s the Trump ...

Rand Paul didn’t show up to the debate last night

Image
Hi, it’s Charles Booker, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Kentucky against Rand Paul. Last night, my opponent skipped our debate so he could attend a fundraiser with his big-money friends. They even had a cup of water ready for him – but he didn’t show. It’s clear that Rand Paul doesn’t care about the people he represents. He’d rather cash checks from the special interests than make his case to Kentuckians. It’s time our commonwealth had a Senator willing to show up every day. I’m that Senator – but with just 5 weeks until Election Day, I need your help to fight back against the attacks and get across the finish line. Please pitch in what you can if you agree that Kentucky deserves a Senator who will show up and fight for us.    CONTRIBUTE → Together, we can make history. We can stand up, give back, and get things done for ALL of Kentucky. Thanks so much for being a part of this team,  Charles Booker       Donate Email us:  info@charlesbook...

Kentucky Democrat HUMILIATES Rand Paul in must-see takedown

Rand Paul is a hypocrite & a traitor

Image
Rand Paul's behavior gets more extreme by the day.  H e actually called to repeal the Espionage Act.  Why? To protect his friend Donald Trump, who's under federal investigation for violating it. That's worth repeating: Rand Paul thinks sharing major national security secrets is ok, as long as his buddies are the ones doing it. This shameful behavior is not appropriate for a sitting Senator. Rand should just do us all a favor and pack up his office now. Or better yet, we'll kick him out this November when I am elected as the next United States Senator for Kentucky. From the hood, to the holler, to the Senate, I will always stand up to corrupt leadership. Will you chip in $10 to fund our mass movement to defeat Rand Paul? Rand Paul is a hypocrite, and we have the receipts.  This traitor doesn't actually care about whistleblowers. He doesn't care about protecting the First Amendment. He doesn't even care about the government employees receiving threats while ...

Rand will never stand up for coal miners

Image
After losing almost everything, a community in East Kentucky is standing up to the coal industry and suing Blackhawk Mining. We know widespread strip mining has dramatically increased the risk and severity of these floods.  They deserve a leader who will fight for them, not against them. Rand Paul is not that leader. Rand Paul will never stand up to exploitative coal companies because you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.  That’s why he’s sold us out time and time again. Last I checked, Senators are elected to represent people, not corporations. Our grassroots movement is up against a lot of industry money in this race. So I’m asking you: will you chip in $10 to give us a leg up? There are many reasons why I’m running against Rand Paul. But the recent floods ravaging Kentucky have only made this race more urgent. Let’s review exactly where Rand Paul stands: Rand has taken at least  $850,000 of dirty money  from the mining, oil, and gas industries while our p...
