A prominent labor attorney who’s  poured at least $9.3 million  of her own money  into her campaign or a former Boston city councilor with less legal experience but who could shatter a glass ceiling in November. A senator from western Massachusetts whose main pitch  is connecting the two halves of the state by high-speed rail, a North Shore mayor who’s leaning into her executive experience, or a social-worker-turned-state-representative who’s won over progressive groups.
