DeSantis is trying to distract us
We’ve got to stay focused. By now, I’m sure you’ve read all about DeSantis’s latest political stunts. Gov. DeSantis lied to refugee families, trafficked them across state lines, and then left them in Martha’s Vineyard. He even attempted to fly another group of migrants to Delaware but instead left them stranded in Texas in an attempt to “punk” the media. The worst part: It’s all a sad attempt to distract us from his extreme abortion ban — a ban that includes no exceptions for victims of rape or incest. Gov. DeSantis wants to change the subject — and the subject is that he has a horrible position on a woman’s right to choose. DeSantis is inhumane, manipulative, and self-serving, but he’s not unbeatable. Poll after poll shows our race in a dead heat, meaning we have a real shot at this.
