A ballroom billion
$200 million. No more than $300 million. $400 million. Not one penny. $1 billion. Each of these things we've been told is the total cost to the taxpayer for Donald Trump's illegal East Wing ballroom. So which is it? Well, this week, the Senate has been debating the last number. $1 billion of your money to build a ballroom for a man who is legally required to leave the White House at the start of 2029. So, what are Republicans doing to make sure we're reducing the deficit, giving tax breaks to working Americans, and making sure people have healthcare? Nothing. Instead, they're legitimately contemplating passing the "Ballroom Billion." Taking your money, money that's supposed to be set aside so you can have affordable healthcare and housing.
