Tell Congress to finally act: pass an ACA tax credit extension now
Last week, before Congress went home for the holidays, four Republicans joined House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries' discharge petition to force a vote in the House to extend the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced premium tax credits. 1 Now that the discharge petition has 218 signers, the House must vote on the measure when it comes back in January. If the House passes a clean extension of the subsidies, it increases the likelihood that the Senate could act quickly.
