Maine voters reject voter ID requirement, absentee voting changes
COMMENTS: ID. Required to vote NEEDS to be national law. This is unbelievable Before commenting on an issue, informing yourself is a good idea. STATES determine VOTING REQUIREMENTS! Much as the ORANGE TURD wants to pretend otherwise. There is a great deal of information available about states employing VOTER ID to DISENFRANCHISE VOTERS. GEORGIA mandates VOTER ID but a voter must travel to a STATE OFFICE ONLY OPEN DURING WORKING HOURS & at a great distance. If a person is DISABLED, has no transportation or works a LOW WAGE JOB & must take unpaid time off, it succesfully disenfranchises those voters. Why should you have to travel to obtain the RIGHT TO VOTE? Do your homeworker before forming a flawed & inaccurate opinion. You already have to prove who you are to REGISTER TO VOTE here in Maine.
