Today is a moment for all of us to do our part to protect the environment and leave the world better than we found it. There are many ways to make an impact… you can plant a tree, pick up litter, or donate to an environmental organization. But today, I want to make the case why your support of my campaign is so important to our climate movement. Look: I’ve always been vocal about the reality of climate change. While Donald Trump and his MAGA allies dismiss it as a “hoax,” those of us in California know the truth. This is an emergency. For me, this issue is personal. Growing up, I struggled with severe asthma and relied on an inhaler just to breathe. I know firsthand how critical air quality is to our health.
