  A recently appointed interim TOWN MANAGER has identified BUDGET PROBLEMS  that forced the postponement of TOWN MEETING.  A search of the Town web site indicates that MIDDLEBORO has a TOWN  ACCOUNTANT. Isn't this the 'stuff' an accountant gets paid to do?  Didn't the former Town Manager purchase an 'accounting system' for the  Town? Isn't that something an ACCOUNTANT should do?  The TOWN used to have a few fiscal curmudgeons who scrutinized the  town's spending.
