    As a teacher, I have seen firsthand how food insecurity affects kids. I’ve watched children come into my classroom hungry, struggling to concentrate because they haven’t had enough to eat.   That is why when I learned that MAGA Republicans, under Trump’s leadership, cut 1 billion dollars from food bank and school meal funding, all while giving tax breaks to billionaires, I was not just upset – I was enraged.     Food insecurity is not a partisan issue.   Every child deserves to be able to eat at school . Every family deserves the security of knowing they can feed their loved ones without making impossible choices.
