A critical partner in the fight against poverty and hunger
As the Board Chair of the Coalition on Human Needs, I cannot express how critical your support has been in advocating on behalf of vulnerable people and communities. This year was particularly challenging, as you know. The CHN Board members I serve with, who represent groups working every day to defend against cuts to health care, nutrition, education, housing, children’s and immigrants’ services, and much more, have had a tough year. One thing is clearer than ever: none of us can wage this fight alone. We need the Coalition on Human Needs to lift up our issues and to encourage more people of conscience―like you―to join in. Working as I do with so many different organizations, I want you to know how much good the Coalition on Human Needs is doing. Every week, about 200 key advocates are convened by CHN to learn the latest about congressional developments.
