Breaking: Senate committee just voted to put our forests on the chopping block

  A committee of U.S. senators just voted to fast-track a wave of reckless logging projects in our forests. The so-called "Fix Our Forests" Act won't fix anything -- it could put millions of acres of forests on the chopping block. It could also threaten endangered species by completely bypassing key environmental laws like the Endangered Species Act. We can't let this anti-forests bill pass the full U.S. Senate.  A similar version of the bill has already passed in the U.S. House.
