The normally reserved Barack Obama absolutely unloading on Donald Trump and his insufferable son, Don Jr. It isn't terribly suprising, but it is refreshing to hear all the same. In a private phone call with the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the 44th president slammed Donald Trump as a "hopeless idiot" and a "pathologic[al] liar" and called his son, Donald Trump Jr., a "fucking moron." Hear, hear. According to Fauci, Obama called him in late 2021 and, during an “incredibly memorable” 25-minute conversation, offered "to help in any way that he can" as the immunologist faced an "onslaught of slanderous lies" from the political right.
