White House Ballroom Ruling

Image
PLEASE NOTE: ANOTHER DEFEAT FOR TRUMP'S ILLEGAL ACTIONS!  READ THE DECISION!  Yesterday,  Judge Richard Leon ruled (PDF)  to halt any further ballroom construction until the Administration complies with the law and obtains express authorization from Congress to go forward. We are pleased with this win for the American people on a project that forever impacts one of the most beloved and iconic places in our nation. Note that, anticipating an appeal and cognizant of the complexities of halting a construction project, Judge Leon stayed his order for 14 days and exempted work necessary for the safety of the White House. We will continue to keep you apprised.
