However, GDP measures total economic output, not wages or household income, and gains are often concentrated at the top. Presenting this as if everyone benefits equally misleads the public, and Lutnick got no pushback from the Fox host, Kellyanne Conway. Stephen Miller confidently spreads falsehoods about Trump’s economic record, inflation, and Biden-era policies. He blames Biden for inflation, and rewrites the history of COVID lockdowns.
