Styrofoam Collection Event January 10, 2026 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Middleborough DPW Facility 65 Sachem Street Are you overrun with Styrofoam from holiday packages? We’ve got the answer! Bring your Styrofoam on Saturday, January 10, 2026, to the Department of Public Works at 65 Sachem Street, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All the Styrofoam collected will be sorted and bagged and then delivered by DPW to Insulation Technologies, Inc. in Bridgewater who uses the material to make commercial and industrial products. This collection event is being cosponsored by the Department of Public Works and our Green Sanctuary 2030 team along with Sustainable Middleborough. The DPW will accept polystyrene foam that “snaps”. That includes packing materials, foam peanuts, coolers, cups, meat trays, egg & takeout containers and other food cartons.
