A special election was held in Pennsylvania’s Senate District 36, where a little-known Democrat, James Malone, defeated a well-funded and well-known Republican, Josh Parsons, in Lancaster County. This was a ruby red area that went +15 for Trump 5 months ago, and it was viewed as a very safe seat for Republicans.
