Rand Paul didn’t show up to the debate last night

Hi, it’s Charles Booker, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Kentucky against Rand Paul.

Last night, my opponent skipped our debate so he could attend a fundraiser with his big-money friends. They even had a cup of water ready for him – but he didn’t show.

It’s clear that Rand Paul doesn’t care about the people he represents. He’d rather cash checks from the special interests than make his case to Kentuckians.

It’s time our commonwealth had a Senator willing to show up every day.

I’m that Senator – but with just 5 weeks until Election Day, I need your help to fight back against the attacks and get across the finish line.

Please pitch in what you can if you agree that Kentucky deserves a Senator who will show up and fight for us.
