IT'S ALWAYS DISAPPOINTING THAT THE GOVERNOR FAILS TO PERFORM
ANY REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS!
AFTER A SCHOOL MASSACRE (UVALDE), GOVERNOR HELD A BRIEF PRESS CONFERENCE
AND HEADED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO A CAMPAIGN FUND RAISER.
NEVER SPOKE WITH PARENTS OF SURVIVORS OR OFFERED ASSISTANCE
WITH BURIAL COSTS OR OFFERED CONDOLENCES.
TEXAS ABANDONED THIS COMMUNITY!
WHEN TEXAS LOST POWER AND WERE FREEZING IN THEIR HOMES, THE
TEXAS GOVERNOR TOOK NO ACTION & TED CRUZ FLEW TO MEXICO LEAVING
A SECURITY GUARD AT HIS HOME WITH HIS DOG INSIDE...NO HEAT, FOOD
OR WATER?
COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE ORGANIZED RESCUE GROUPS TO ENSURE THAT
TEXANS WERE PROTECTED & CARED FOR - THAT DEFINES AMERICANS WHO
FOCUS ON COMMUNITY! (WE SUPPORTED THOSE EFFORTS & CONTRIBUTED AS
DID MANY OTHERS.)
WHEN FLOODING IMPACTED POOR COMMUNITIES DUE TO LACK OF REGULATION,
NO ONE PROTECTED THEM FROM THE TOXIC RUNOFF FROM THE SUPERFUND
CLEANUP SITES NOR IS THERE AN INDICATION THAT THE TOXICITY HAS BEEN
CLEANED UP.
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE GOVERNMENT POLICY OR CONDUCT!

Working Texans just took on big money — and they won.
In a district Trump won by nearly 20 points, a Democrat just finished first in a special election, despite being outspent more than 60-to-1.
That’s not a fluke. Texans are tired of state leaders distracting us with nonsense instead of solving problems. We’re tired of politicians attacking our public schools and selling out our communities to their billionaire donors and corporations.
This provides a clear path to us winning this race. And it proves what I’ve been saying:
Democrats can win in Texas. Lowering costs, creating jobs, and protecting public schools can be the issues that flip this state. And if we keep organizing, we will win.
But momentum fades fast — we need to act right now. If you’re able to, please chip in $5 or whatever you can to help build on this momentum and flip Texas blue in November 2026.
Democrat Taylor Rehmet is now headed to a March runoff for Fort Worth’s State Senate seat, and he has a great chance to win. He earned 47.6% of the vote, just a few thousand votes shy of winning outright.
And he did it in a deep-red district with only $68,000 against his Republican opponents’ combined $4.1 million.
He beat big money by focusing on the real issues: creating good jobs, strong public schools, access to health care, and dignity for working people. And Fort Worth voters responded. They rejected Abbott’s scheme to funnel our tax dollars for school kids to private interests and his out-of-state billionaire donors.
This isn’t just one race, either. For years, we’ve been told that Democrats can never win in Texas. But voters just proved otherwise, and showed that Texans are ready for change, and that people decide elections — not money.
Now we have to move fast to turn this momentum into a statewide movement.
