Thank you for making this work possible. No corporation and no billionaire funds this movement. So settle in: what follows is four wins the big networks skipped—brought to you by a newsroom that answers to no one but readers like you. You already power this. If you want to push it further, there are two ways to fund the next edition: gift a subscription to someone who could use a little hope, or upgrade to become a founding member today. They Buried The Epstein Files. New Mexico Brought A Shovel. A prosecutor went around the DOJ, a judge voided Trump’s $1.8 billion scheme—and that’s just the start Scott Dworkin Jul 14 Come sit with me a minute—because what’s in this edition is exactly the kind of thing the regime works hardest to keep quiet. They want you to believe nothing can be done. That the fix is in, the fight is lost, and you might as well look away. Today is the proof that it’s a lie. The regime is losing—out loud, on the record—and almost nobody is telling you. Before you read another line, hit the ❤️ like button and restack to drop today’s wins straight into the hands of someone who’s sure the fight is already lost. That’s not a share. That’s reinforcements arriving. We take no ad money and answer to no owner—which is the only reason we can tell you the truth about who’s really winning this fight. Reading along costs you nothing and always will. But if you’re able to chip in a few bucks a month, that’s what keeps this going—and today’s a good day to join us as a paid subscriber: NEW MEXICO IS COMING FOR THE EPSTEIN FILES Most prosecutors gave up on holding Jeffrey Epstein’s network accountable. New Mexico is done waiting. Attorney General Raúl Torrez has an active criminal investigation into Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, and he’s going straight at the one thing blocking it—demanding the DOJ hand over the unredacted files it’s been sitting on. Six times since February he’s asked. Six times they stonewalled—even after he took it straight to acting AG Todd Blanche, Trump’s own former defense lawyer. That’s 130 days of silence, and counting. So Torrez drew a hard line: hand over the files by July 31, or he takes the DOJ to court. “Witnesses relocate and become unreachable,” he warns—every day they stall costs him ground, and he refuses to quit. The regime thought these files were buried for good—Torrez just picked up a shovel and started digging. ONE JUDGE STOPPED IT Trump sued the IRS for $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns. The catch: he runs the IRS. So everyone who was supposed to stop it had a choice—protect your money, or obey the boss. Every one of them caved. The DOJ, sworn to defend the Treasury, did nothing. The IRS wrote a memo laying out exactly how Trump could lose the case, then folded anyway. The Treasury’s top lawyer quit the day they announced a settlement. One by one, the guardrails collapsed. Here’s the deal they nearly pulled off: $1.776 billion in taxpayer money funneled into a fund Trump controlled, plus a promise the IRS could never audit him, his sons, or his companies again. Cash today, immunity forever. Until one court stopped it. Judge Kathleen Williams threw the whole thing out and reported Trump’s lawyers to the bar—including acting AG Todd Blanche, the same man stonewalling New Mexico. One judge held the line. Remember that. FLORIDA COUNTY SLAMS THE DOOR ON BIG TECH Big Tech didn’t even get a foot in the door in Sarasota County, Florida. They slammed it shut first. Last week the Sarasota County Commission voted five-to-nothing to freeze every new data center for a year—before a single one could apply. They saw the giant computer warehouses Big Tech has been trying to plant in towns across the country, and they refused to wait their turn. And here’s the kicker: these commissioners are Republicans. One of them, Joe Neunder, put it in four words: “No, not now, never.” The residents saw what was coming—a single one of these data centers can guzzle up to five million gallons a day, more than half of what a local plant produces, just to cool its machines—and they rallied until the commission acted. Big Tech usually wins these fights by writing checks and waiting for the vote. Sarasota didn’t give them the chance. THE MONEY THE REGIME CAN’T SCARE AWAY Want to know what this country really thinks of the regime? Follow the money. In just three months, everyday Americans gave $586 million to Democratic candidates and causes through ActBlue. That’s the most raised in a single quarter in any midterm ever. Most of it came in small. The average gift was thirty-nine dollars. More than half a million people gave through ActBlue for the very first time—grocery money, gas money, whatever they could spare. That’s not a fundraising haul. It’s an uprising with a receipt. And here’s the sweetest part. All quarter long, Republicans tried to shut it down—hauling ActBlue through investigations, demanding its records, hoping to scare people away from giving. It didn’t work. They pushed hard, and the money came in bigger than ever. Fifteen million times over, Americans just showed the regime exactly where this is headed—thirty-nine dollars at a time. Notice what today’s wins had in common. The prosecutor wouldn’t take no for an answer. The judge wouldn’t take the fraud. The county wouldn’t take the check. Fifteen million donors wouldn’t take the threat. Neither will we. No advertiser, no billionaire, no corporation owns a word of this—so nobody can buy our silence or scare us quiet. Readers keep us alive, a few bucks a month, and that’s exactly why we can tell you the truth. Join us as a paid subscriber, and help keep the one voice they can’t silence loud. Before you go, hit the ❤️ like button and restack this edition—drop the story of the judge who blocked Trump’s $1.8 billion grab in front of one person who’s ready to give up. That’s what a restack does: it hands a stranger the proof that we’re winning. I’ve been in this fight since 2016. This regime can knock us down. It has never figured out how to keep us there. And it never will. I’ll be right here beside you through it all—flashlight in one hand, megaphone in the other. Onward! Scott The DOJ has until July 31 to hand over the unredacted files—or Torrez goes to court. Place your bet: do they comply, or does he have to drag them in? A judge just voided Trump’s slush fund deal and reported his lawyers to the bar. Should Todd Blanche lose his law license over this—yes or no? Thanks for your support! Click and send: 👇 https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-your-senators-oppose-todd-blanche-for-attorney-general/ Did I read yesterday that we’re still looking at Todd Blanche‘s name being approved (or not) by committee before it can come before the full Senate for confirmation hearings? Either way, I hope this whole matter of his being referred, along with others, for censure, if not even disbarment… That should be earthquake enough to simply result in a clear NO to any consideration that he would be even considered - let alone confirmed - as United States Attorney General? Sure hoping this is the outcome. Make those calls! You don’t just read this work, you move it. You carry it into rooms Scott and I will never see, to people who think they’re fighting alone. And that changes the math. So hear me clearly: you’re not “following” this work. You’re powering it. You’re the reason these stories don’t disappear into the dark. You’re the reason the guardrails hold. And as long as you keep showing up, they will keep holding. Thank you for being here. Thank you for refusing to look away. And thank you for proving — again — that the country isn’t out of fighters. Not even close. LOVE IT that she reported lawyers to the Bar!! That’s where it hurts Todd Blanche needs to be disbarred and now we wait for the repugs to vote for the bastard. My rage is building I applaud the Judge who decided Trump couldn’t Sue himself and get over a billion dollars of our tax money in return. I don’t think the DOJ will comply. Torres will have to drag them to court. Todd Blanche should be disbarred. He has abused his power and broken the law. He'll have to drag them by their hair because they won't show up under their own steam. Torrez will need to drag them in; no way can we count on admin47 doing the lawful, honorable thing. Blanche needs to be disbarred, just as trump & admin47 needs removal. Things are only going to get more & more wild. Patrick P  Patrick’s Newsletter7h Donald Trump can't hide from all his troubling Epstein vibes. A Storm is Coming A storm is coming in our direction It happens when there is too much deception Politicians forget who gave them power They think they are safe, in DC's ivory tower Senators should remember that after the election To vote with us, not against our objection Where is the help they promised to send All we see is the corruption, they now defend The cost of living is rising and gas prices too The empty wallets; the kids crying boohoo Trump tries distracts us in so many ways If you're not careful, you'll get lost in the haze He always whines about the last election Never showing fraud evidence or its collections He sent ICE to cities to our discontent To drag immigrants off to imprisonment They killed citizens caught in their way Blaming them for what happened that day When the press starts asking hard questions for the president He complains and another distraction is sent He starts wars to divert our eyes from his Epstein troubling vibes He changes the news cycle more than his underwear To the dismay of service agents and his cabinet's despair A sea of change is coming, no time to hesitate We are coming for Trump and his policies of hate We need democracy to work and nothing to go wrong Like Bob Dylan Said in many a song The prophesies of Dylan are neither left nor right So get out of the way or join the fight He weaponized the justice system So now it protects only him A blue wave is needed of epic proportion to wash away the red tide and all of its corruption When society becomes stagnant or paralyzed Washington politics must be cleaned and sterilized We must remove all Trump's sycophants and enablers And give the country back to the people to save her. First - Thank you so much, Scott. Today’s publication filled me with extreme hope. Big time! Thank you… thank you! The regime will never comply with releasing the files. Never. They truly and delusionally believe they are above the law. NM and Suarez should go for it- full on. Full throttle. Let that ONE judge be another hero we add to the list of patriots. As for Blanche? Disbar him. Bring him up on charges of treason. Let him stand trial in front of a jury. Let that one judge preside. Someone needs to sue Fox Entertainment and the major disinformation sites for treason. They all fuel Trump and his regime. The people in charge- and those who disseminate the lies all need to go to prison. We must all remember the power of ONE! Time to make more calls… and send a few letters. Onward! Nieta Greene  Nothing About Us Without Us7h Scott, when are you going to talk about the push back against the Olmstead DOJ Memo which Stephen Miller had a hand in. It is Disability Pride Month and the disability community is fighting back just as hard as everyone else. I know that my organization has a campaign in partnership with Sick of this Shit Publications called Say No to Crip Crow calling for the codification of the Olmstead decision into federal law. https://app.broadbanner.com/crip-crow/ Scott Dworkin  6h Hi Nieta, thanks for bringing this up. I'm already tracking that DOJ memo and Stephen Miller's despicable attempts to roll back Olmstead, and it's definitely on my radar to cover. The disability community's fight right now is crucial. Thank you for sharing the link to the 'Say No to Crip Crow' campaign—codifying Olmstead into federal law is exactly the kind of action we need. Happy Disability Pride Month, and keep up the vital organizing. I will DM you to set up a time for us to chat directly. Either myself or Nick Paro of Sick of this Shit Publications and the Director of Framing for my organization have done a lot of Substack livestreams either together or separately over the last three weeks with people like Joe Walsh, etc. If you visit Nothing About Us Without Us you will be able all of the different media hits. Thanks Scott for the support. Nieta: 👏💪 What was the Olmstead DOJ Memo? Nieta Greene  Nothing About Us Without Us4h https://www.justice.gov/olc/media/1446701/dl Thank you for sharing! We know that tRump & NAZI STEPHEN MILLER HATE THE DISABLED!  tRump refuses to appear with WAR WOUNDED DISABLED VETERANS!  Many of us remember how 'DISABLED' were WAREHOUSED, ABUSED, IGNORED, even when they were capable of leading productive lives...  WE can't allow the progress of this community to be DESTROYED! As a student, I assisted several 'disabled students' navigate a campus not yet ready to accommodate 'disabilities.'  Just because a person is BLIND, DEAF, USES A WHEELCHAIR,  or has other DISABILITIES, they should NEVER be excluded.  A visit to any local VA provides insight into to need to protect ALL! Not ALL people are made 'perfect.' MAGA in action. Make Attorneys Get Attorneys. I hope these people are all disbarred. They should all wind up like Guiliani and the Kraken. Some serious wins in the courts recently. I loved that judge holding them accountable. Can't take credit I heard it somewhere years ago when all of Trump's attorneys were needing lawyers to defend themselves. I don't know how many attorneys of Trump's have lost their licenses. I'm pretty sure that list is going to grow. We need more Jack Smith's not Alini Habba, Pam Bondi, and the absolute worst has to be whatever his name is running the DOJ now, Blanche is a total POS. His handling of the Epstein files better get him disbarred at a minimum, if not in jail, and that settlement with Trump was unbelievable. The most amazing thing about this is that with all this pushback, and all these court victories, and the mounting losses for the regime, federal Republican legislators are still sucking hard on their thumbs.
