I was proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with my community at a peaceful protest against the Trump Administration’s dangerous housing policies. Because here’s the truth: While you’re working hard to build up your neighborhood, create stability, and secure a future for your family, people like Donald Trump and Elon Musk are scheming to push you out -- just so they and their billionaire friends can get even richer. Here’s an unbelievable stat for you: In my district, 1 out of every 3 homes is owned by corporate investors. Think about that. These Wall Street vultures are driving up rent, blocking first-time homebuyers, and forcing families out of the communities they've called home for generations. Enough is enough. I refuse to sit back while Trump, Musk, and the ultra-wealthy rip affordable housing out from under working people.
