DROPKICK IMPEACHMENT Thousands gathered at the Lincoln Memorial calling for Trump’s impeachment and removal on Saturday. The rock band Dropkick Murphys headlined the rally—marking the third consecutive day of major protests against the regime in our nation’s capital. At the event, Dem Rep. Al Green stated: “I must vote to impeach a president who would put the lives of members of Congress at risk … who doesn’t respect the Constitution … who is devolving our democracy into a dictatorship. He must be impeached. He must be convicted. He must be removed.” ICE BLOCKED On Friday, a federal judge blocked the IRS from giving taxpayer information to ICE. Calling it “unlawful,” the judge said it violated “several provisions of Internal Revenue Code,” and that people could “suffer irreparable harm.” Democracy Forward CEO Skye Perryman said: “This is an important win for millions of people in America whose information has been threatened by the [Trump regime] … Paying your taxes does not forfeit your right to privacy.” BOLSONARO ARRESTED Trump buddy and former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro was arrested yesterday. He was apparently trying to flee the country before facing 27 years in prison for a failed coup. Bolsonaro’s ankle monitor set off an alert, which led to him being swooped up. And guess where they thought he was headed—the US Embassy. I can’t help but think that Trump should be under these types of conditions, too. Brazil is showing us how it’s done. HOCHUL GOES AFTER STEFANIK NY Gov. Kathy Hochul slammed GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik for repeatedly using racist attacks against Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Stefanik is one of the worst maga cult members in Congress, and she is now running for governor of New York. Hochul stated: “She’s full of sh*t … she really is … this is such an extreme position … even more extreme than Donald Trump. I didn’t think that was possible ... She’s out-maga’d Donald Trump … It’s disgusting. It’s abhorrent. But that’s who she is.” CROCKETT SLAMS TRUMP Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett hosted a town hall in Houston, Texas yesterday, with hundreds of fired-up folks. “I am here to tell you that even in the state of Texas, we have power,” Crockett said. “There is one reason that they decided they need to gerrymander our state, and it’s because of our power.” Torching Trump’s corruption, Crockett said the American people “are getting robbed. Nixon is turning in his grave right now, like ‘why’d I give up my good job?’” And citing the recent meeting where Trump fawned over Mamdani, Crockett said: “I want that to be a message to people … you cannot be weak with a bully.” In our decade of helping lead the resistance against Trump, that’s a mistake we’ve never made. Something I've noticed since the advent of Trump II: elected Dems "outside the Beltway," meaning state governors, attorneys general, and secretaries of state, caught on and started acting more quickly than most Democratic members of Congress, notably the congressional leadership. (Need I say that *some* Dems in Congress caught on PDQ, but many of them seemed very tongue-tied.) Many of the Democratic members of Congress have NEWSLETTERS & were, in fact, speaking out.  Some offfered their criticism differently.  MASSACHUSETTS CONGRESSMAN JIM MCGOVERN was vocal & visible, as were others.  Many offered comments that were publicly available on YOU TUBE.  State legislators were noticeable because they united & filed LAWSUITS & challenges which was their option to oppose illegal acts.  What is more conspicuous is the SILENCE among most MAGA MAGGOTS, except for a deranged few.  I think I read somewhere that Bolsonaro claimed he was playing around with his ankle monitor out of curiosity. Was it a mere coincidence that the day after Trump signed into law the release of the voluminous Epstein-related files that he issued his “peace proposal” which practically called for Ukraine’s capitulation to Putin’s demands? And was it merely coincidental that Jeffrey Epstein, for years before and during Trump’s presidency, maintained back channel relationships and communications with high ranking Russian officials pertaining to, among other matters: 1. That in 2018, while Trump was President, Epstein wrote to former Norwegian prime minister Thorbjørn Jagland, asking him to “suggest to Putin that Lavrov ( Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov) can get insight by talking to me,” and claiming the late Russian UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin had already consulted him to better “understand Trump.” 2. The fact that a Russian female operative was blackmailing wealthy American businessmen, though no evidence has been uncovered that Trump has been implicated in this. 3. That Epstein furnished advice on how Russia should handle Western sanctions, interest rates, and new currency ideas, Separately, banking records and Senate summaries show that Epstein moved over a billion dollars in suspicious transactions, including wires involving Russian banks and Russian/Belarusian women tied to his trafficking network. It would appear that it is almost too coincidental that within 24 hours after Trump was backed into signing Congress’s bill calling for the complete disclosure of Epstein’s files that Trump dramatically withdrew his former strong support for Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s ongoing invasion and issued an ultimatum to Ukraine to, in essence, totally capitulate to most of Putin’s demands. Whether there is a cause and effect relationship between the contents of Epstein’s voluminous files and Trump’s sudden turn-around demanding that Ukraine make crippling concessions to Putin remains to be seen if and when full disclosure of Epstein’s files and other evidence in the hands of the federal government see the light of day, if ever.
