It was just revealed that the federal agents in charge of “Operation Midway Blitz” that has been terrorizing Chicago are retreating, claiming “crime is down,” as if they had anything to do with it.

Chicago’s lower crime rates are the result of real work by our city and state — investing in communities, prevention, and actual public safety.
ICE didn’t reduce crime. They committed crimes.
For months they assaulted innocent civilians and protesters, harassed workers, and kidnapped Black and brown Chicagoans off the street without warrants. All of it was political theater for Trump, not public safety.
Then they got rejected on election night, and now they’re quietly slipping out of town, desperate to claim credit on the way out.
What really happened is simple: Chicago pushed back. |
But their retreat doesn’t mean the fight is over. MAGA will try this again the moment they think no one is paying attention.
