Freedom is sweetest when it's shared by all

We love making ice cream, but our mission has always been about more than that. Love, equality, freedom, justice – these values underscore everything we do. Right now, they are under attack, and we believe each and every one of us must do what we can to uphold them. That's why we are requesting that you join us and make a year-end donation to the ACLU today. Tough times test us – and right now, we're in the fight of our lifetime. Are we going to be a country that fights for its values? Are we going to stick up for ourselves, our neighbors, and our communities? Or are we going to let the Trump administration's anti-liberty agenda destroy nearly 250 years of imperfect but essential democracy? We know our answer to these questions. When it comes to protecting our rights, there's no organization we trust more than the ACLU. With over 100 years of experience safeguarding our freedom and liberty – including 230+ legal actions against the Trump administration this year alone – the ACLU has the strategic prowess, the agility, and the persistence we need at this moment. But these aren't fights anyone can win alone – even the ACLU. They rely on supporters like us to power their critical work in courtrooms, legislatures, and communities nationwide. With so many tough fights to come in 2026, will you please donate now to defend our fundamental rights and civil liberties? We have partnered with the ACLU many times in our history and throughout 2025 to raise awareness about the issues we care about – such as racial justice; criminal legal system reform; reproductive rights; freedom of speech, including the speech of pro-Palestine activists; trans justice; and voting rights. Now, we urge you to join us in supporting the lawyers and advocates who are on the front lines fighting for our rights. Please make a year-end donation now to defend civil liberties. Using our business to make the world a better place gives our work meaning. We're not giving up, and we hope you won't either. Your friends, Ben & Jerry Co-founders, activists, and proud ACLU supporters
