Recently, one of Trump’s senior military commanders said in a hearing that if President Trump ordered him to use military force against American citizens, he would follow that order.
In response, I released a video addressed to the President, and it’s one of the most important messages I’ve ever delivered.

I spoke directly to Donald Trump and every political appointee who sits in his military cabinet.
I told them what every veteran and active duty service member already knows in their gut: you do not turn the weapons of war on the people you swore to protect.
And you do not call Americans the enemy for saying something that you disagree with.
I wore this nation’s uniform and fought this nation’s wars for 24 years.
I wear the names of thirteen of my brothers on my back – men who gave everything and never made it home
I will not stay quiet while an American president tries to twist their sacrifice and patriotism into an excuse for political violence.
