Senator Calls Trump More Impeachable Than Ever, AOC Brings The Fire, Fox “News” Gets Repeatedly Embarrassed, and America Rallies Against ICE Plus, the Nobel Institute rejects Trump again Scott Dworkin Jan 12 Thanks for being here. Tomorrow at 4pm ET I’ll be doing a live interview with US Rep. Robin Kelly about her move to impeach DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. I’ll send a link to all subscribers when we launch. We aren’t just documenting the fallout of Trump’s authoritarian agenda—we’re giving you the power to stop it. That’s why we launched our Midterm Accountability Project through our activism arm, The Watchdog Coalition. We don’t answer to any advertisers or billionaire bosses here. That independence allows us to deliver the truth and tangible results for the resistance every single day. So please help us keep up our momentum by upgrading to a paid subscription right now: NOBEL WARNING Trump will be meeting Venezuelan opposition leader and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, María Corina Machado, at the White House this week. Machado previously mentioned she might share the medal with Trump. But the Nobel Institute made it clear: “Once a Nobel Prize is announced, it cannot be revoked, shared or transferred to others. The decision is final and stands for all time.” Too bad, Donald. OF COURSE TRUMP SHOULD BE IMPEACHED This weekend, when asked if Trump should be impeached, Dem Sen. Chris Murphy stated: “I have common sense. I know that [Trump] has committed ten times more impeachable offenses in his second term as he did in his first term.” “He is stealing from the American people,” Murphy said. “Taking a luxury private jet from Qatar, trading national security secrets to a foreign nation in exchange for a $2 billion investment in his cryptocurrency … I don’t think it’s any secret that [Trump’s] level of corruption and illegality is nuclear-grade.” AOC BURNS FOX PRODUCER Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez brought the fire when a Fox “News” producer approached her to say: “Jesse Watters would like to invite you on his show.” AOC responded: “He has sexualized me on his show. He has sexually harassed me on his show. He has engaged in horrific, sexually exploitative rhetoric … So why don’t you tell me what you think?” AOC then said “thank you,” turned her back on him, and walked away. Later, when sharing a video of the encounter on social media, AOC wrote: “You can either be a pervert or ask me to be on your little show. Not both. Good luck!” FOX CHOOSES THE WRONG PERSON Speaking of Fox “News,” one recent interview on Hannity completely backfired. As Sean Hannity fed questions through an earpiece, a supposed reporter on the ground asked a protester in Minneapolis why they were there. The man replied, saying ICE has to stop “kidnapping” people, and that “they murdered an innocent human being.” Hannity then tried to lay a trap by asking via the reporter whether the attendee thought Renee Nicole Good drove toward the ICE officer. The demonstrator responded, “That’s not what it looked like to me at all,” and added, “There’s absolutely no justification for this.” A THOUSAND EVENTS AGAINST ICE Following the killing of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent, there were more than 1,000 rallies, marches, and protests held against ICE all across the country this weekend. Above is an image of just one of those events in Minneapolis. Thousands of you showed up to speak out loudly against the Trump regime’s rampant immigration abuses—telling ICE to get out of your communities for good. And thousands more helped amplified the message on social media. We’re turning our grassroots energy into a movement that the Trump regime can never stop. That’s the mission of our Watchdog Coalition and our new Midterm Accountability Project. Last year, we drove half a million contacts to lawmakers, while generating billions of impressions on social media. Now, that massive network is focused on winning back Congress in the midterms. We will continue fighting back like we have every day for the last decade, but we need your help. So please support our efforts by upgrading to a paid subscription today: Onward! MEIDAS TOUCH has partnered with Status Coup News Below is a video of MASKED ARMED ICE GESTAPO INVADING A GAS STATION & ATTACKING DRIVERS  CORPORATE MEDIA IS NOT REPORTING THIS!  Also note that it appears one of the THUGS has BEAR SPRAY swinging from his belt - it has been reported by others that the THUGS have used BEAR SPRAY...JAN 6 INSURRACTIONISTS used BEAR SPRAY on CAPITOL POLICE. https://youtu.be/h3WmRaVrkOU?si=AMR8W-McrRrJFbjS We need to compel Congress to use the budget appropriations process to severely cut back funding for ICE, and limit the scope of their actions, with an effective enforcement mechanism. The hiring of new agents should be frozen, pending a Congressional review of the lowered standards, and detailed profiles of all new hires made in the past year. Call your senators. If you know they are resisting cutting ICE funding, let them know they have betrayed you and all of their constituents. Enough of money being more important than protecting all of us. My rep, Emily Randall, is supporting the impeachment of Noem. I stopped in at a small rally not too far from our house and made as much noise as possible! Way to go, America. Don’t let up for a second! Trump IMHO has broken international law and is threatening our alliance with NATO A peace prize would be rediculous for him. He should get a life sentence for ruining the world order, here and abroad Agreed! I wholeheartedly agree That the Nobel Institute even had to come out and make such a statement is beyond embarrassing for our country. Our “president” is an insane child. Spoiled brat I attended a rally in Tijeras, NM. We had a clown in his big truck drive by with his rifle out of the driver side window. He made sure we all saw it. He was just smart enough to keep it pointed up. We all laughed at him. Wow that’s awful! Thanks for your bravery I love how people blow kisses to those assholes See how Trump, Noem, and the ICE thugs are emboldening MAGA? BUT, they keep telling the peaceful people to "bring down the temperature of the rhetoric". More gaslighting on their part. I trust what I see and hear. I verify. We should all do this. Do not give in. Trump keeps rolling along, one tragedy after another. Support Ukranie and NATO pay attention to the world scene And the attacks on this countries systems by Trump. Such an obvious consistant daily disrupter. Keep your eyes on the Alaskan tundra where Trump has initiated a road thru our so called protected wilderness. Not for our use But for private business use. Imagine the nonsense . Do not let that happen ljd We also need to be very loud about Epstein files. He will do anything to stop us finding out what could possibly bring him down I protested with several friends in San Diego, California. It was a huge turnout, even though it was not in the main area of town. I have left several messages for all congressmen that Trump and his entire cabinet needs to be impeached and imprisoned NOW. We cannot wait until later this year. The man is clearly out of his mind and so are all the people who are enabling him. He is the number one enemy not justice of the United States, but of the entire world. He needs to be removed from causing any further damage. I attended the ICE OUT FOR GOOD,on the Mannett Bridge, Bremerton, WA. It was very cold and hurt alot (arthritis) but I am glad I was able to stick it out. Got a ride from contact through Bremerton Indivisible, which made it possible. Thanks for being out there despite your arthritis and the cold weather. What you did is pure bravery. Thank you! Yes, I would attend a protest near me here in northern MN and will support the protests on line. I have also urged my MAGA congresswoman to support the impeachment of Trump. Schumer and Jeffries need to reach out to Republicans that (according to multiple sources) are appalled by the cruelty, lunacy and lawlessness of Trump and his minions. We need to end the Trump administration before he completely destroys the country. Hi Scott, Thanks for your steadfast reporting. Did you attend any events this weekend or support them online? Yes. As with the other two protests that I attended over the last seven months, it was peaceful and positive. Overwhelming positive reaction from passing cars and the police were cool. Just a very small handful of MAGA motorists. But they did not dampen our spirit or resolve. What do you think about the Nobel Institute telling Trump that no one can “share” the prize with him? Good! But we know Donny is terrible at sharing so I wouldn't be surprised if he started leaning on them again. I cannot believe that Machado even offered to "share" her Nobel Peace Prize in the first place. C'mon. . . 🙄 Anyway, glad the Committee made clear that the 🍊 Felon gets nothing, which is exactly what he deserves. Nothing but prison time. . . I attended 2 events over the weekend. Both well attended. One with powerful speakers and music. The other with cars honking in support . I think it was terrific the Nobel Prize people shut down any sharing of award with the toddler in chief Couldn’t stop but I honked at five people on a street corner in Little Marion Massachusetts and gave them a big thumbs up. I think that helps a lot if you’re standing out in the cold. It is this action that helps spark our joy when we are protesting. I can't tell you the number of times protestors share their appreciation. I hope you know this by our responses Thank you. I was on a corner and Yes, it helps a lot! We love the positive interactions! Thanks We had over 1000 yesterday aft in my red Florida district.I was there for almost the duration and didn’t witness a single one-finger salute or f-u. A first ! Only one truck full of young, white dudes that yelled at a group of us retirees to “Get A Job”. Although there were younger gen in attendance along with a flock of flamingoes.🦩🦩🦩🦩 Never.Give.Up. My husband and I attended a “No ICE” protest on the steps of the state capitol in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. About 200 of us stood under our umbrellas in the rain and cold, chanting among other things “We want justice for Renee.” I support getting information about trump and his cronies, I post everyday in multiple social media platforms. People need to know how often what this mad man , incompetent turd is doing daily to destroy this country , all for money and power to prove he is not a weak insecure piece of shit. He is failing to convince anyone but himself. He is a pedophile convicted felon and sex abuser he has no morals, no empathy, and does not give a dam about the American people or thus country only what he can get financially for himself and his immediate family. Humpy dumpy will fall. Make no mistake about that Americans will not tolerate this fir much longer, protests will increase 10fold. Another case of Fox picking the wrong person…🤣 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTTjkE1j6mI/ Why are you wearing a mask" "My nose is cold" lol thank you Kathy! Wanna bet he'll ask if he can wear the Peace Prize and then just walk away with it? Trump's minions need to be impeached. Start with Noem and Bondi. Start chipping away at them all and watch the whole thing fall down. Unfortunately I could not attend the protests, I have not been feeling well but I am there in spirit. That is what Putin did with the Patriots Super Bowl ring! lol Three cheers for the Nobel Institute! He complained about Norway, as if they "withheld" the honor from him in the first place. Isn't that exactly the country from which he said a while back he wished we had more immigrants? It's so freaking scary that a guy who is killing defenseless men in small boats, bombing other countries, and kidnapping heads of state thinks he deserves a peace prize. And then the whole "I need Greenland for its psychological benefit" b.s. This man is looney tunes, and only a few Rs have moved an inch towards acknowledging it. I went to an event in Portland Oregon. There was quite a crowd, about a thousand of us. Lots of good signs, some hand made frog hats, rousing speeches, and a feeling of sorrow, anger, and solidarity. No violence except when ICE, the previous day, shot and wounded two people at a "traffic stop". This can't go on. They are pouring millions into ICE, hiring untrained people off the streets who have no business being there, creating a gang of thugs AKA GESTAPO. I say "they" because it's not just tRump, it's Steven Miller, it's Christy Noem, it's most Republicans in Congress who are planning all of this or complicit with it. This insanity HAS GOT TO STOP. I'll be calling more R Congresspeople today. IMPEACH T AND ALL HIS HENCHMEN. I wish the Nobel commission had a seat in our government. They have more morals and common decency than the Republicans who just kiss ass. They sure do! YES! I attended an "ICE OUT FOR GOOD!" Rally in our little town of Mount Shasta City, CA. We had an excellent turn-out -- lots of noise and enthusiasm -- as well as a good measure of grief and bewilderment. I did not attend any events. I did support. Let’s think about this…if the Nobel Peace Prize could be shared, would DJT share it? Absolutely not. Though he happily shares his lies, his threats, his thievery, his bribery, his disrespect…I’m excited for the day the news is sharing he is gone. Thank you for today’s hopeful news, Scott. Did you attend any events this weekend or support them online? Yes, we had a candlelight vigil for Renee Good (plus 40 more who have died because of ICE). What do you think about the Nobel Institute telling Trump that no one can “share” the prize with him? Good for them! He is the LAST person on the face of the earth who deserves a Nobel Prize. Thank goodness the Peace Prize Committee commented re: the rules regarding the Prize. Trump has no right to the prize. He, above all people, has not EARNED it! Well said, But he obviously has NOT earned ANYTHING! He has never earned respect! Stealing money to pay for anything he has! $$$$ from buildings, republicans, cabinet members, lawyers, SCOTUS, judges, wives, children, resorts, planes, anyone who hangs out with him (he has no friends...he murder the only one he ever had Epstein) and especially presidencies! As a full time caregiver, I was unable to attend an event in person Poor little Convicted Felon.. the Nobel group tells him to pound salt!! Good.. peacemaker my butt!! I attended a small, weekly protest yesterday. Only 2 people flipped us off. Everyone else honked. I'll be out again next Sunday. On the Peace Prize: I'm Norwegian and we believe in truth, fairness and democracy. Period. Here is a response that I sent to someone else who was unable to protest. maybe some of this will work for you! https://substack.com/@cj277/note/c-198303467 Thank you. Going to attend a Louisville Dems Volunteers meeting tonight featuring women in leadership including Amy McGrath who ran unsuccessfully against Mitch McConnell a few years ago. Already a few Dem hats in the ring for McC's seat. She might toss hers in as well. I attended a rally with about 50 others in west central Minnesota on Saturday. It was very cold, but not as cold as ICE. There was a MAGA mouthpiece (a pretty big guy with his minion sidekick) there spewing his vile not well thought out propaganda and no one engaged. He walked across the street were there was a group of women and shoved a young lady and took her flag. The ladies surrounded him, got the flag back, self defense shoved him a few times and he and his toadie very quickly retreated. It was perfect, it reminded me of the Scut Farkas Incident on A Christmas Story, minus the bloody nose!! The Nobel Peace Committee getting ahead of this and saying, No, Nope, Nada, Not Ever Donald, but also perfect! He walked across the street were there was a group of women and shoved a young lady and took her flag. The ladies surrounded him, got the flag back, self defense shoved him a few times and he and his toadie very quickly retreated. Sounds like a classic bully. I carry a personal alarm that emits a high decibel alarm and starts a strobe light, if I pull the pin. Common safety feature for single women, readily available online. A lot of the protest captains are now wearing body cameras since one of them had an angry white bully start shouting invectives at her; then when she started filming him, he snatched her phone, stuck it in his pocket and walked off. So my friend and one of the other protesters called the police and started following him home. (The jerk was out walking his dog). The other woman was wearing a body camera so she captured the entire incident. The police showed up at his door and the upshot is that he was charged with theft of property. He was also served a warrant by the Sherriff - they showed up at his door and everything. Once he understood the consequences, he first tried to be conciliatory, but she is still pressing charges. Last I heard his lawyer was trying to force her to show up at the hearing to be a witness - I guess in the hope that the case would be dismissed if she didn't show up. I am doubtful that will happen - she is still steamed about the incident. My advice is to not piss off a post-menopausal woman! We can be fierce!!
