This defense contractor went too far PLEASE SPEAK OUT & JOIN WITH OTHERS TO SEND A MESSAGE TO RAYTHEON!

Defense contractor greed has gone too far -- even for Donald Trump. Trump just threatened in a post on his social media platform that he would cut defense contracts with Raytheon if it didn’t stop spending tens of billions on stock buybacks while neglecting investments in planes and equipment. We don’t often agree with President Trump. But this time, he’s right.
Raytheon is the corporation that makes ‘Patriot’ missiles. The Trump administration just signed a 20-year, $50 billion contract to provide a wide range of military needs, including systems and end-item production, spare parts, services and other types of support. If Raytheon is more interested in cashing checks than serving Americans, President Trump is right that their contract should be cut off. Even if Trump is spewing B.S., this is an opportunity to highlight the waste that’s inherent in America’s trillion-dollar defense budget. We need to seize this opportunity! If Raytheon doesn’t comply, we can insist that Trump remain true to his word and cut off this contract. In solidarity, -Faiz Faiz Shakir, Co-Founder
