OUTRAGEOUS STUPIDITY!

As we close out April, I want to be direct with you. We are up against a tough end-of-month deadline, and every donation helps us keep fighting for Alabama families.  Now, I want to tell you why I’m reaching out personally. A couple of weeks ago, I sat across from Health Secretary RFK Jr. in a congressional hearing — and I had to speak up. When someone in power suggests that Black children should be “reparented” or taken away from their families instead of receiving proper medical care, you don’t stay silent. You call it out. And that’s exactly what I did. Because in Alabama, we understand the history and the harm of people in power trying to decide what’s best for Black families without listening to them. And I will always stand up and say: our families deserve respect, dignity, and real care — not reckless rhetoric. Moments like this are exactly why this work matters.  Thank you, Terri
