ICE is back to its old ways. Earlier this week, they tased a man in the streets of Bushwick. Now, instead of accountability, the Trump administration is using the chaos to try to forcibly bulldoze their deportation forces directly into New York City. Let's be absolutely clear: New York City does not want them, does not need them, and legally does not allow them to operate outside of its sanctuary laws. But authoritarians do not care about local laws, community safety, or jurisdiction. They care about dominance. They want to punish a city that refuses to bow to them. We are sending Operation Liberty straight to New York City. If this administration tries to force its way into a city where it is legally barred from operating, our Liberty Vans, floodlights, and street teams will be there to meet it.
