Trump is using the DOJ to go after the people exposing him
PLEASE SPEAK OUT AGAINST TRUMP'S MAFIA DOJ!
SILENCING DISSENT WITH FALSE ACCUSATIONS IS WHAT DICTATORS DO!

Trump’s Justice Department is going after the Southern Poverty Law Center, using federal power to target a civil rights organization that has spent decades forcing dangerous movements into the open. This is an organization that has mapped how organized hate operates behind the scenes, identified who funds it, and brought evidence into the public record when others stayed silent. Their work has made it harder for extremist networks to operate quietly and easier for communities to understand the threats they face. That kind of work disrupts power. It exposes connections that were meant to stay hidden. It creates consequences for people who rely on secrecy to operate. This move is part of a broader effort to weaken the infrastructure that grassroots movements depend on. When organizations that investigate, document, and challenge abuse are forced onto the defensive, the entire system that holds power accountable starts to fracture.
Donald Trump has spent years going after anyone willing to expose him or challenge his movement. Journalists have been attacked. Watchdog groups have been undermined. Civil rights organizations are now being pulled into legal fights designed to slow them down and force them to redirect their energy. This is about removing pressure. Groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center create visibility, connect the dots, and force accountability into public view. That makes it harder for extremism and political abuse to operate without consequences. Taking that pressure away creates space for those forces to grow. If this effort succeeds, it will not stop with one organization. It will signal that investigating extremism and challenging powerful interests comes with a cost. Other groups will face similar threats, and fewer will have the capacity to keep doing this work at the same level. That is how accountability erodes over time. Let’s make sure this effort to silence accountability fails. -Rick Rick Weiland, Founder
