All over this country, people who were told they had no shot against Trump are winning anyway. And the regime is working overtime to keep those stories in the dark. Don’t let them—hit the ❤️ like button and re-stack this edition right now.

WES MOORE FIGHTS FOR AFFORDABILITY
Everything the regime touches gets broken or more expensive—or somehow both. Tariffs at the checkout, climbing prices at the pump, massive cuts to basics like rental assistance and healthcare. All while Republicans shrug and keep blaming former President Joe Biden. It’s beyond pathetic.
Maryland is fighting back. Last week, Gov. Wes Moore signed a law restoring child care help for thousands of families stuck on a year-long waitlist—and shifting payments to a sliding scale, so what you pay is tied to what you earn. For some working parents, that’s hundreds of dollars a month back in the budget.
He also signed the Transit and Housing Opportunity Act, freeing up state land to build more than 7,000 new homes in a state desperately short of them.
Weeks earlier, Moore signed the Utility RELIEF Act, saving families at least $150 a year by forcing utilities and data centers to cover their own costs instead of dumping them on the people. Marylanders, he said, shouldn’t “foot the bill for data centers and utility executives’ bonuses.”
The regime makes everyone poorer except themselves and calls it a “Golden Age.” Maryland just proved Democrats deliver what Trump only promises—a life people can afford. And that’s an argument that flips Congress in November.
70,000 WORKERS MAKE HISTORY
Trump does whatever the billionaires want. He treats unions like the enemy, and has even packed the agencies that are supposed to protect workers with corporate insiders. Uber and Lyft were counting on exactly that when they labeled their drivers “independent contractors”—a fancy word that legally blocked them from forming a union.
Massachusetts blew the doors off the scheme. In 2024, voters there gave drivers the right to organize, and last month it paid off. The App Drivers Union is now official, representing all 70,000 ride-share drivers in the state. It’s the first union for gig workers in American history—and the biggest group of private workers to win a union since Ford autoworkers did it back in 1941.
Last week, thousands rallied to celebrate on the State House steps, as Gov. Maura Healey called it “a historic day for the state, for the country.”
Massachusetts just gave these drivers a seat at the table—and the days of taking home as little as 20 cents on every dollar a rider pays are numbered.
COMMUNITIES BEAT BIG TECH
Your electric bill is climbing so a giant tech company can run AI. That’s the “deal” the regime cut for you. Trump signed an executive order to rush data centers—massive warehouses packed with computers—into towns across the country. They guzzle enormous amounts of electricity and water, and they push everyone’s utility bills up. You get the costs. Big Tech gets the profits.
People have been pushing back hard. Last week in Andover, New Jersey, residents packed a town meeting and demanded their leaders say no to a proposed AI data center. When the officials voted to ban data centers outright, the room erupted in a standing ovation. That’s what the resistance looks like—neighbors coming together, refusing to hand over their town.
Andover isn’t alone. In Florida, one county just froze all new data center projects for a year. And in Minnesota, a judge blocked Google from building a plant that would have eaten more electricity than the state’s biggest power plant can produce.
At least sixty-nine communities across the country have now hit pause—and the regime’s plan to quietly blanket America in data centers is running into a wall.
A JUDGE KILLS VOTER SUPPRESSION LAW
Trump’s actively trying to rig the midterms, and most Republicans are going along with it.
New Hampshire’s version of the SAVE Act—a law requiring proof of citizenship to vote—was the first big test of a national GOP push. Show a passport or birth certificate to register, or get turned away. It was built to quietly purge college kids, married women who’d changed their names, and anyone born out of state from the voter rolls.
On May 29, US District Judge Samantha Elliott killed the law in a 98-page decision. One fact sealed it: across 8.3 million ballots over 26 years, there were 47 cases of wrongful voting—and only eight by noncitizens. The judge’s verdict: that kind of fraud “is essentially nonexistent.”
The ACLU’s Henry Klementowicz didn’t mince words, saying it belongs “in the dustbin of history.” It sure does.
Trump’s nowhere near as strong as he wants us to believe. The regime knows it too—that’s why they’re so desperate to fix the November election in their favor. They never expected Democrats to fight back this hard, and it’s costing them—as it should.
My pledge to you is that we’ll spend every day between now and the midterms leading this fight against Trump, and doing what corporate media won’t: handing you the truth. No ad money softens our coverage. No billionaire owner edits us. We answer only to the members of this amazing community.

Wes Moore just signed real cost-of-living relief into law. Should this be the Democratic playbook everywhere?
Republicans are passing voter-suppression laws state by state. Has one shown up where you live? Let me know in the comments!

COMMENTS:
Signed a few days ago! Even if it doesn't actually work, it will be a stain on Roberts' legacy.
Roberts needs to answer questions about several things, including his wife's job of placing lawyers in companies that have been before the Supreme Court. Which is a rather lucrative job.
Praise to judge Samantha Elliot for spelling out the problems with the SAVE act.
And Wes Moore should be sainted! His acts to protect the citizens of his state should be the Dems’ playbook!
The single case of VOTER FRAUD in NEW HAMPSHIRE that I recall is a REPUBLICAN who voted in both MASSACHUSETTS and NEW HAMPSHIRE.
NEW HAMPSHIRE doesn't want COLLEGE STUDENTS voting, among others.
I did VOTER CANVASSING in New Hampshire. Lots of INDEPENDENTS registered, but someone told me that you can't do business with the state if you're 'partisan' - registered with a PARTY.
New Hampshire funds public education with REAL ESTATE TAXES with predictable results. I was sent into REPUBLICAN VOTING areas and the educational disparities were stunning!
All of these huge state victories give me hope. There are way too many of us—running their businesses and cities, teaching their kids, powering the labor movement. They’ll never be as powerful as they pretend to be!
Exactly, Ms. Jonington. Trump and his regime are NOISE. We are ACTION!
I think it’s safe to say Trump STILL has no idea how powerful our resistance movement is. That’s ok—he’s about to find out!
Well said, Sam! When you live in a bubble where everyone shields you from reality, it eventually catches up to you. It is snowballing in Trump's direction.
That stupid image he put out, with him dumping bags of sh## on cities in the US from a jet says it all about his ignorance of who we are.
From your post to God's ears Sam. This has to stop already. I'm so tired of his deranged posts and interviews. He has late stage dementia and people listen to his ranting. He has wars happening all over the world one of which he started and he only can talk about himself, his ballroom, the reflecting pool and putting his face on everything. I can't wait till he is gone and I never have to hear from him again.
Gov. Moore is doing what ALL states-at least those blue states, need to do. We are all sick & tired of being robbed blind & unable to care for ourselves & families.
I haven't seen any evidence-yet-of voter suppression here in NJ. I live in a red zone of a blue state, so we'll see.
Thanks for the smile this morning. I do believe we are seeing the degeneration of the regime!
Good morning, Scott! I'm charged up again, thanks to your news today.
Wes Moore just signed real cost-of-living relief into law. Should this be the Democratic playbook everywhere? Yes BUT they need to drive home that the reason the DEMS are fixing these problems is because the GOP willfully created them, and will do so again if given a chance.
Republicans are passing voter-suppression laws state by state. Has one shown up where you live? Not as far as I know. I am in a Blue state and track each of my ballots. It works very well and I haven't notice any suspicious activity; though I wouldn't be surprised if there were some surreptitious activity out there.
We will be fighting to keep our mail in ballots here in Washington state. We have had it for years with almost no fraudulent voting. Like less than 10 in any presidential election. And most of those were relatives filing dead relative's ballots. We have to show 3 pieces of proof of residency including either a drivers license or a state id, a utility bill, and either a rental agreement or home ownership record. Of course such things as birth certificates and passports are accepted, too. We are also fighting this administration to keep our state's voters role out of their hands!
Say YES to Wes everywhere. Since NC is largely Red, I am not aware of voter suppression.
Yes, absolutely, what Gov. Wes Moore did in Maryland should be a blueprint for every state! If the federal government takes away funds for child-care help, the states can give them back to their citizens! If the federal government tries to buy up land in any state for their stupid data centers, the states can put forth the Transit and Housing Opportunity Act to help their citizens with housing. If the CEOs and the federal government think they can make consumers pay for their 'costs' for running utilities and data centers, the states can pass the Utility Relief Act forcing them to pay their own costs instead of trying to pass it on to the consumer. WooHoo! Way to go, Gov. Moore! Since I live in Florida, I am certain there will be plenty of issues about voting. It is a deeply red state and the magas outnumber the Democrats and Independents. That will not stop me from fighting and resisting every single day! Keep fighting, America! Stay strong and stay safe!
Scott, I live in Florida so of course DeSantis has attempted to suppress the vote.
I live in NJ so I have not heard of any voter suppression going on here, but the Delaney Hall stuff is horrific. This regime won't stop until we stop them. They are feeding people moldy and putrid food. And some of the people they put in there are kids. These people are just sick. Our governor needs to do MUCH more. Hell they pepper sprayed one of our Senators, Andy Kim, the other day.
I am just waiting for the day the pendulum swings and these people get what they deserve. A vacation to prison.
