Todd Blanche is named in the Epstein files

 

We recently learned that Trump’s new Attorney General, Todd Blanche, is named in the Epstein files. More information is still coming to light.

Here’s what we know:

2019: Days after Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest, Blanche was copied on a private email discussing Epstein’s chances of getting bail.

2025: As Trump’s Deputy Attorney General, Blanche personally interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell for nine hours. Days later, she was transferred to a lower-security prison camp.

2026: Blanche was put in charge of releasing the Epstein files. A federal judge later found his DOJ improperly withheld information required to be released.

Last week: Trump bullied Senate Republicans into confirming Blanche, his former personal lawyer, as Attorney General by a single vote.

Now Blanche controls the Justice Department, and the very Epstein files that contain his own name.

That is an extraordinary conflict of trust.

The Attorney General is supposed to serve the public, not Donald Trump, his powerful friends, or himself.

Todd Blanche is unfit to lead the Department of Justice. The House must investigate and act.
