I hope these pre-emptive pardons get challenged in court. I wasn't keen on them when Biden did it either, although I understood his reasoning behind it. Pardons are for people who have been convicted of a crime, not to keep someone from being prosecuted for a crime. I mean, think about it -- if a president can pardon anyone who ever worked for him or had a conversation with him about helping to commit a crime, then we are no longer under the rule of law. They can get away with anything! I'd love to see how twisted some of these Supreme Court justices could make themselves to say these are okay. Yes. Pardons should only be used to correct a verified, obvious injustice. Or someone who paid their penalty, served their time, paid restitution and are genuinely sorry for what they did. There needs to be a Pardon Board to vet and approve the granting of a pardon. If there already is one, they aren’t doing their job. There isn't one. There is a pardon attorney, or was, Liz Oyer, whom Trump had Blanche fire when she wouldn't agree with a pardon for Trump's friend Mel Gibson. NO SHIT SHERLOCK! I'm sure some State AGs are thinking of ways they can charge people. For example, some securities fraud/hanky-panky can be charged in New York. He is selling Alaska to Putin....in the form of Alaska's gas resources... Does Alaska two Senators know about this??????? C'mon...both are Republican$... They still may not know.. or approve Pretty unlikely. WTF America?! is fantastic. I have the audiobook, but will order a hard copy or two so I can share it with friends and family. I worked in ABC National News for the Hearing-Impaired in the 1970s and saw then how little actual information was conveyed. Have almost never had a TV, now 73 and only on non -corporate news. In the work in the 1970s, a tornado or plane crash was "good news" because there was something to look at. Economic reports were a graph superimposed over a farmer on a tractor. Watergate stories were only given to the most experienced editors because it was all words and ideas and no visuals really (Court drawings). The best TV news is radio. And now the Trump crime family is selling off Alaska's fossil fuel resources to Putin, lining their pockets once more. Get rid of the Trumps and MAGA before you all have to learn to speak Russian...
