WHEN MAGA MAGGOTS DESTROY HEALTHCARE TO FUND TAX CUTS FOR THE
WEALTHY AND PROFITABLE CORPORATIONS, EXPLODE THE DEBT AND
DEFICIT, HOW CAN WE ADDRESS "AFFORDABILITY" ?
AND THE TARIFFS THAT PENALIZE WORKING PEOPLE AND SMALL BUSINESSES?
THE NATION FAILED WHEN IT IMPOSED TARIFFS UNDER SMOOT-HAWLEY:
I am incredibly honored to serve another term representing Massachusetts in the Senate, alongside a new, historic Democratic majority in both houses of Congress.
Last night the American people sent a powerful message: We are done with the MAGA-billionaire alliance that has made all of us worse off than we were just two years ago.
With these new majorities we have taken away the GOP’s rubber-stamp on Trump’s failed agenda and proven that Americans will not stand for authoritarianism, endless war, inequality, and hatred.
Now, I’m turning my attention to both solving the real problems facing working people and investigating this administration to hold their corruption accountable. We must deliver on the mandate that voters have handed down.
I want to say a deep thank you to everyone who voted, donated, protested, organized, and put in the work over the last two years. Your efforts are the reason we won last night in the face of massive GOP spending and billionaire interference in our elections.
But living in a democracy means the work begins again today. We have new energy and wind at our backs, but the road ahead will be rough as we fight for our communities, our country, our democracy, and our planet.
So let’s do this!

The Senate race in Mississippi is still TOO CLOSE TO CALL. The Democratic candidate, Scott Colom, has a slight lead, but signs point towards a possible recount, and his campaign will need additional funds to stay in the fight.
