Today, the whole world is celebrating Sir David Attenborough's incredible life. But in true form, Attenborough is focused on our world — and its future.

In his remarks anticipating today's festivites, he doubled down on his one singular mission for the past decade: Convincing each and every one of us to take action against climate change before it’s too late for the planet we all share.

He said:
 
“PLEASE MAKE NO MISTAKE. CLIMATE CHANGE IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO SECURITY THAT MODERN HUMANS HAVE EVER FACED.”

The Three Huge Lies Trump is Telling Republican Senators about his Medicaid Cuts — to finance a big tax cut mostly for the wealthy Robert Reich Jun 3 Friends, Trump is busily working the Senate this week in an effort to get his Big Ugly Bill across the finish line. Given the Republican’s close margin in the Senate, he can afford to lose only three Republican senators. But Republican senators don’t like the idea of cutting Medicaid — many of their constituents depend on it — and they’re balking at the huge deficit-busting price tag (which, of course, includes a giant tax cut mostly for the wealthy).
