A bus only corridor will be just the start
When the World Cup final comes to town on Sunday, big changes will come to 42nd street too: a bus-only corridor will be implemented to ease congestion getting to and from MetLife Stadium for the big match.
And this temporary corridor is just the start. A sweeping plan will speed improvements to 50 priority corridors throughout the city, including a rapid bus route on Flatbush Avenue.
That’s because when Zohran Mamdani ran on the promise of a New Era for New York City, it was more than just rhetoric.
There is so much more our movement can build together. It will take sustained effort, political will, and communication across all five boroughs.
It will take all of us talking to our neighbors, organizing with our communities, and building power in every borough. If we keep mobilizing across every corner of the city, tangible change won’t just be possible — it will be unstoppable.
That’s the promise of what we’re building together.
Thank you,
Team Zohran
