Todd Blanche must be fired. Immediately

 

Donald Trump has nominated his former personal lawyer, Todd Blanche, to become Attorney General of the United States.

Let’s be clear about what that means: Donald Trump wants the public servant charged with enforcing our laws to work for him alone — not the American people.

That's unacceptable.

As Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee, I've spent months fighting for transparency, accountability, and answers from this administration. The last thing America needs is another Trump loyalist running the Justice Department.

So I'm asking you to take a stand with me and add your name to my grassroots petition demanding that Todd Blanche be FIRED immediately. Can I count on you to add your name?

The Department of Justice should be independent. It should pursue facts wherever they lead and hold the powerful accountable.

It should never be treated as a personal legal defense team for a president. Yet that's exactly what Trump is trying to create.
