One was released from prison because he had completed his sentence and another one was in prison in SC and killed someone in SC. As we all know SC has a GOP governor and GOP-controlled Legislature. The ad-writers also also ignore the pesky fact that Cooper released prisoners early during COVID because of a court order! Whenever I see one of those ads I want to yell "What about all those ICE Thugs who are murdering and assaulting people at will? They are poorly trained, not properly vetted, and trample all over due process!! We desperately need accountability for DHS (Customs and Border patrol and ICE)!
