Boebert believes God gave her “permission” for fascist rule

In the months following the Charlie Kirk assassination we have seen an unprecedented power grab and wave of massive escalation from the right. 


They are now using Kirk’s martyrdom as a way to claim that God is granting them permission to implement theocratic fascist rule by any means necessary and with an iron fist. 


And of course, Lauren Boebert is leading the charge and amplifying this rhetoric:

 


Boebert’s retweet endorsing far-right pundit Matt Walsh’s assertion that the Kirk killing has given the right divine permission to rule as they see fit. 


Lauren Boebert is a Christian fundamentalist who in the past has said that “God is sending a holy army to save Colorado from the left” — now her views are becoming mainstream. 


Trump has three years left and if this is how bad things are getting we can only imagine what our nation will look like in 2028. 


We need to ensure that Boebert does not get another term in Congress where she can continue to push far-right religious extremism. She wants a holy war in this country and we need to take away her platform to call for one before it is too late.
