Day 25: House Democrats have enhanced support for families at risk of becoming homeless

This is part of my 30 day series explaining items that Democrats in the House of Representatives have already passed and are awaiting action in the Senate. We thought we had to wait till after the election, but despite Republican opposition we're already delivering progress on critical issues relating to veterans' health, gun safety, and marriage equality. If we keep our House majority and pick up at least 2 Senate seats (so we have a functional majority) in the coming election, these are yet more of the items that we can deliver for the American people next year.
