Update: Memphis National Guard Shooting investigation underway

 

Last week we told you about Tyrin Johnson, the 20-year-old father who was tragically shot and killed by National Guardsmen on the streets of Memphis.   Here is an update on where things stand.   Our Watch Center team spent this week with local organizers who are close to Tyrin's family.    What we heard convinced us the official version of that morning does not hold up, and we came away with several solid leads on where to dig.    We will be working alongside the community from here to help them get the answers they are owed.
